Accept card payments on your WooCommerce store
A production-ready WooCommerce plugin that connects your store directly to PowerTranz for card processing. Supports all major card brands with a secure hosted checkout experience.
Features
Everything you need to accept cards.
Direct gateway integration, 3D Secure, hosted checkout — all configured from your WooCommerce admin. No custom code required.
Direct Gateway Integration
Connect your WooCommerce store directly to PowerTranz — no middlemen or third-party aggregators. Customers are redirected to a secure hosted payment page, and transactions settle through your own merchant account.
3D Secure Authentication
Every transaction is verified with 3DS 2.0, reducing chargebacks and meeting the latest card network security requirements out of the box.
Secure Hosted Checkout
Customers are redirected to PowerTranz's secure hosted payment page to enter their card details, then returned to your store on completion. Card data never touches your server — PCI SAQ A compliant by design.
Refunds, Voids & Order Sync
Process full or partial refunds from WooCommerce — or void unsettled transactions before they clear. Order statuses, transaction IDs, and payment metadata stay in sync automatically.
Test & Live Modes
Switch between sandbox and production with a single toggle. Test your entire checkout flow before going live — no code changes required.
All Major Card Brands
Accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and other major card brands in 11 currencies — USD, JMD, TTD, BBD, XCD, GYD, BSD, BZD, CAD, GBP, and EUR — through PowerTranz's acquiring network.
Block Checkout Ready
Works with both WooCommerce's block-based checkout and the classic checkout shortcode. Visa Secure, Mastercard ID Check, Amex SafeKey, and PowerTranz badge are displayed at checkout.
Built for the Caribbean
Translations included for English, Spanish, and French — covering the entire PowerTranz footprint. Friendly decline messages mapped to 34 ISO response codes so customers see clear explanations, not raw error codes.
Security
Card data never touches your server.
Margot uses PowerTranz's hosted payment page — the most secure integration method available. Your store qualifies for PCI SAQ A, the simplest compliance level.
PCI SAQ A Compliance
Customers enter card details on PowerTranz's hosted page — not on your site. Because card data never reaches your server, your store qualifies for PCI SAQ A, the simplest self-assessment questionnaire with the fewest requirements.
Protected Against Compromise
Inline card field plugins handle raw card numbers in your page's DOM — where rogue JavaScript, compromised plugins, or a server breach can intercept them. With a hosted payment page, card data exists only on PowerTranz's PCI-certified infrastructure, never in your site's environment.
3D Secure & Verification
Every transaction is authenticated with 3D Secure — Visa Secure, Mastercard ID Check, and Amex SafeKey. Payment results are verified server-to-server between PowerTranz and your store, ensuring transaction integrity before any order status is updated.

FAQ
Common questions
What's included in the purchase?
You get the full Margot plugin with all features — direct PowerTranz integration, 3D Secure, hosted checkout, refund and void support, block checkout compatibility, translations for English, Spanish, and French, and friendly decline messages mapped to 34 ISO response codes. Updates and email support are included.
Is Margot PCI compliant?
Yes. Margot uses PowerTranz's hosted payment page, which means card data is entered on PowerTranz's PCI-certified infrastructure — never on your server. This qualifies your store for PCI SAQ A, the simplest compliance level with the fewest requirements. Plugins that embed inline card fields on your checkout page handle raw card data in your site's environment, which requires PCI SAQ D — a significantly more complex assessment.
Is there a recurring fee?
No. Margot is a one-time purchase — no monthly fees, no per-transaction charges from us. The only ongoing costs are whatever your payment provider charges for processing.
Which payment gateways are supported?
Margot connects directly to PowerTranz, which processes Visa, Mastercard, and American Express across the Caribbean. You'll need a PowerTranz merchant account with API credentials from your acquiring bank.
Do customers leave my site to pay?
Briefly, yes — customers are redirected to PowerTranz's secure hosted payment page to enter their card details, then returned to your store's order confirmation. This is what makes Margot PCI SAQ A compliant — card data never enters your site's environment, which is more secure than inline card field alternatives that handle raw card numbers in your page's DOM.
Can I void a transaction?
Yes. You can void a transaction from the WooCommerce admin order actions menu. Voids cancel the authorization before the transaction settles with the bank — so no funds are captured and no refund is needed. This only works on unsettled transactions; once a payment has settled, use a refund instead.
Can I test before going live?
Yes. Toggle between test and live mode from your WooCommerce settings. Run your full checkout flow in sandbox mode using PowerTranz test credentials before processing real transactions.
How do I get support?
Email us at [email protected]. We also help with PowerTranz merchant account setup if you don't have one yet — just reach out.
