Terms of Service | Bowen Consulting

1. Services

Bowen Consulting provides enterprise systems integration services, including but not limited to payment gateway integration, insurance middleware development, and custom API architecture for Caribbean businesses.

2. Engagement

All engagements begin with a discovery call and technical audit. A formal scope of work, timeline, and pricing will be provided before any development begins. Work does not commence until both parties have agreed to the terms of the engagement.

3. Confidentiality

We treat all client information as confidential. We are prepared to sign Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) prior to any engagement. All source code, documentation, and credentials shared during a project are handled with strict confidentiality.

4. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, all custom code and deliverables produced for a project are transferred to the client. Bowen Consulting retains no ownership of client-specific implementations. Generic tools, libraries, or frameworks used across projects remain the property of Bowen Consulting.

5. Compliance

All payment integrations are built to PCI DSS standards. We process personal data in accordance with the Jamaica Data Protection Act (JDPA). Clients are responsible for maintaining their own compliance obligations.

6. Limitation of Liability

Bowen Consulting's liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific engagement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or integrations.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica. Any disputes will be resolved under Jamaican jurisdiction.
